Organization Goals

 

The States’ Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys is an organization comprised of governmental attorneys, private attorneys representing governmental bodies, and personnel who work in the bankruptcy legal system on behalf of federal, state, municipal, county and local governmental units. Its charge to its members is to:

  • Promote training, education and assistance;
  • Disseminate pertinent information of common interest;
  • Create and maintain a collegial, open and professional network;
  • Be a source of information and ideas;
  • Further cooperation and coordination on interstate bankruptcy matters to foster a responsive and efficient team action on the part of its members;
  • Hold an Annual Membership Conference, which serves as a common meeting ground to promote education and cooperation.
